The easiest, quickest way to complete this challenge is to drop from the Battle Bus and head straight for this location. Other players will likely be doing this as well, but knowing where to look can be the key here. While looking for the ski lodges is a good indicator, it’s also worth mentioning that Fortnite has players looking between the three new named locations as well: Happy Hamlet, Polar Peak, and Frosty Flights.
It is just northwest of Happy Hamlet and due south of Polar Peak. Players should look for three brown squares on the map and drop there. Upon landing, look for two trees near the centered Ski lodge.
For those who prefer a more visual guide, the video below details the drop from the Battle Bus and even highlights the two trees that the battle star will appear between. Alternatively, if players cannot make it there from drop for whatever reason, they could also take an X-4 Stormwing to get there. While their spawns are not guaranteed every game, here are the best locations to find a plane in Fortnite.
Once players complete this challenge as well as the others, they will be able to track down and find a hidden battle star that’ll give players a free tier on their Fortnite Battle Pass. Considering how impressive the tier 100 Ice King skin is, it’s likely many are hard at work trying to unlock it. Of course, once they do unlock it, they have to complete its set of challenges to unlock the Golden Ice King skin.
Fortnite is available now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One
