To complete this weekly challenge, players will need to first get their hands on a Shockwave Grenade or Bow and then use it on one of the wild animals that inhabit the map, such as the dinosaurs or chickens. Actually finding the weapon is the hardest part of completing this challenge, but players should head on over to Weeping Woods, just north of Slurpy Swamp, because there are tons of chests in the area, as well as wildlife that can be easily found.

Once players land in the Weeping Woods section of the map, they should immediately start to look for chests and/or supply drops in order to obtain the special Shockwave Grenade. Unfortunately, there is no set location for Fortnite players to find this item –it’s all relied on sheer luck, which means that players can look for them wherever they would like to. The grenade can also be dropped from defeated enemies, if they had it in their pouch, so that’s another way to get a Shockwave Grenade if looting chests isn’t working out.
Players on the hunt for the grenade should be careful because other players will surely be looking for these items as well to complete their quest, so making sure to be well-equipped with a gun or two should be a top priority. And once players finally get their hands on the item, all they need to do now is throw the grenade at one of the wildlife creatures. It shouldn’t matter which animal it’s used on, as long as it gets hit by the grenade. Chickens, boars, dinosaurs, or even fish should all count towards the quest’s completion.
Completing this quest can take players some time if the RNG gods aren’t on their side, but like any other quest, players can simply start a new match if their efforts in finding a Shockwave Grenade come up short.
Fortnite is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
