How to Land 3 Times in a Single Match
While most players may consider this quest’s directive completely straightforward, Fortnite requires Glider redeployment to be considered a landing. There are several ways that landing three times in a match can be achieved, with the most surefire method being the use of the Reality Tree. The centerpiece of the Reality Falls POI in the western region of the island, the tree has a perpetual updraft to carry players into the air, triggering the deployment of the Glider. Head to the top of the tree and/or use Slurp Bouncer Mushrooms to reach the canopy, and repeat the process.
Alternatively, players can utilize one of the current Fortnite maps many Launch Pads. Infinitely reusable, the Launch Pads vault players high into the air, enabling players to deploy their Gliders and land. There are only two valid locations where the item can be found, although each one has plenty of them to use. The first concentrated Launch Pad location is Loot Lake, where five or so are placed around the POI’s eastern half. The other is the sizable Rave Cave, where Launch Pads can be found at a multitude of elevations.
Another method Fortnite players can use to land three times in a single match is with Rifts. Instantly teleporting anyone who walks into one into the sky, Rifts are another easily accessible method to land multiple times. They are mostly concentrated around the various Seven Outposts along the island’s perimeter, and are the one of the most effective travel methods in the game should players need to escape enemy fire. The best Rift spot is arguably Seven Outpost 7, found northeast of The Joneses, as it happens to be near the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud-selling Bulma.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC, Mobile, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
