Epic Games’ ever-popular free-to-play title is in the final few weeks of its Chapter 3 Season 3. The high-profile Fortnite x Dragon Ball collab has finally ended after several weeks, which included a robust amount of content like skins, quests, and items. Dragon Ball’s Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud Mythic items are still landing in capsules on the island, but the remainder of the content has made way for something new.

How to Get Suppressed AR and Suppressed SMG
Fortnite’s Suppressed Assault Rifles and Suppressed SMGs can be found on the ground and in Chests.
Suppressed AR and Suppressed SMG Info
The addition of the Suppressed Assault Rifle and the Suppressed SMG come as part of the new Shadow of Phantasm week. Named after Phantasm, the featured skin in Fortnite’s latest Level Up Quest Pack, players have access to the quieted weapons from August 30 at 9 AM ET until September 7, 2022, at 9 AM ET.
The Suppressed SMG hasn’t been seen in-game since Chapter 2, Season 7, while the Suppressed AR has been absent since Chapter 2, Season 8.
The Suppressed AR and Suppressed SMG, or really Fortnite’s suppressed weapons in general, function similarly to their standard counterparts with a few key differences.
Compared to their standard counterparts, the suppressed weapons offer a tighter bullet spread, increasing accuracy while trading off some power. As their name implies, the suppressed firearms do not show on the compass when fired and cannot be heard from long distances, making them excellent for stealthy approaches. However, the weapons aren’t the only stealth options players have at the moment.
In addition to the return of the Suppressed Assault Rifle and Suppressed SMG, Fortnite has also unvaulted Shadow Bombs and Shield Bubbles. Returning after an extended hiatus, with the Shadow Bomb not in the item pool for several years, players can use all the new items to easily sneak up on opponents.
Shadow Bombs turn the user into a ghostly specter, greatly increasing mobility with enhanced speed and a double jump. Shield Bubbles, while not particularly stealthy, are excellent at defending squads and vehicles, especially if a more subtle approach goes awry.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC, Mobile, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
