How To Get Deku’s Smash in Fortnite
Until December 29, 2022, at 7 PM ET, players will be able to complete special limited-time My Hero Academia quests. This is a great way to get some extra experience points and even earn free My Hero Academia-themed items. To get the rewards before they’re gone, it’s necessary to get through all the quests that have been released.
One of the quests requires Fortnite fans to get themselves a Deku’s Smash - a mythic My Hero Academia weapon. To get it, you have to know where to look - it’s not all up to RNG this time and chest loot; Deku’s Smash can be found in All Might’s supply drops or inside special My Hero Academia vending machines.
The item is quite powerful. It deals a top of 110 damage and can be used three times before it disappears from the player’s inventory. It’s got a 15-second cooldown to prevent gamers from spamming it.
My Hero Academia Vending Machines
There are only three My Hero Academia vending machines on the Battle Royale map. Well, they’re actually called Super-functioning vending machines. One’s located at the Warden’s Watch landmark (between Breakwater Bay and The Citadel), another one is at Crude Harbor, and the last one can be found in the northern area of Frenzy Fields. Each vending machine has three Deku’s Smash in stock, and each item sells for 250 gold bars.
All Might’s Supply Drops
It’s also possible to find Deku’s Smash by searching All Might’s supply drops, which will only spawn once the first storm circle appears on the map - approximately a minute after the Battle Bus ends its route.
Players that want to get the Mythic item as soon as possible can glide in the air after leaving the battle bus and then go after the supply drop once its location appears on the map. It’ll emit a distinct glow as it’s dropping from the sky; it’s definitely not hard to spot from a distance.
Fortnite is free-to-play on mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
