This Fortnite challenge provides players with 35,000 experience towards their battle pass, and given its relative ease would be silly to pass up. These types of challenges are easily the best way to level up the battle pass, so fans will want to be diligent in completing them to get the most bang for their V bucks.

In order to catch fish at Craggy Cliffs, players will need two things primarily, the location of Craggy Cliffs and how to get a fishing rod to catch the fish with. Both of these aren’t terribly difficult to find, thankfully.

The first step, of course, is finding the Craggy Cliffs. This may prove a bit difficult at first because the name does not appear on the map, but once players know where to look it should be a breeze. The Craggy Cliffs are located in the northernmost portion of the map, sector E1 to be specific, northeast of Pleasant Park and north of Frenzy Farms. The map above shows a blue marker on the location for those wanting a more concrete understanding of where to find this locale. Though the name isn’t shown, the structures can be seen clearly from the map, so it shouldn’t be hard to find.

The next step is to find a fishing pole, and thankfully there are plenty. Throughout the map near bodies of water players have a chance of finding fishing poles laying around, but in Craggy Cliffs itself there are several barrels full of fishing rods. Opening any of these barrels will grant the player a fishing rod, so this part is pretty easy. That said, it’s important to still be aware of one’s surroundings, as other players will no doubt attempt to complete the challenge as well. Those that aren’t careful are likely to find themselves caught in a gunfight when all they wanted was a relaxing fishing trip and some battle pass XP.

After attaining the fishing rod, simply approach a body of water and press R2 (or the equivalent button for each console). After a short while, the line should start shaking rather rapidly, pressing the same button again will reel the fish in. Catch three fish in Fortnite and the challenge should be completed.

Fortnite is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
