My Hero Academia is currently one of the most popular and successful mangas in Japan. It revolves around a world where a majority of people have special Quirk superpowers. Protagonist Deku, however, doesn’t, despite being a superhero mega-fan and desperately wanting to help people. Deku’s idol All Might helps him realize his dream, leading to Deku enrolling in U.A. High School, which trains the next generation of heroes. Things understandably escape from there.

The Fortnite and My Hero Academia collaboration starts with four purchasable skins of some of fans’ favorite characters. Deku, My Hero Academia’s main protagonist, is the first skin. Deku’s mentor All Might is the second skin. The remaining two skins go to Deku’s most notable classmates, rival Katsuki Bakugo and love interest Ochako Uraraka. Each skin can be purchased individually with accompanying back bling or via two bundles. The first bundle is for All Might and includes a back bling, a pickaxe, and two emotes. The second bundle features all three U.A. High School students and their respective back blings.

There’s much more than just the four My Hero Academia skins in Fortnite as part of the collaboration, however. The Fortnite Battle Royale Island has a new item named the One For All, a punch that can devastate both opponents and structures. There are also All Might Supply Drops that will fall from the sky for the duration of the event.

Outside of the battle royale, there are the limited-time Hero Training Gym game mode. On this island, Fortnite players can battle opposing teams using the One For All attack and destroy the custom map in the process. There’s also several quests to complete in the Hero Training Gym, which will rewards sprays, an emoticon, and the exclusive U.A. Cape back bling.

Suffice it to say, there’s plenty of My Hero Academia content for fans of the manga and anime to enjoy in Fortnite for the time being. It’s all available now, though it won’t last forever. Like with other collaborations, the My Hero Academia event will end before long and take all of its exclusive content with it. The Hero Training Gym quests, for example, will disappear on December 29 at 7:00 PM ET. The rest of the My Hero Academia collaboration is likely to follow soon after.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
